TOI & MOI

The Toi et Moi ring is one of the most romantic pieces of jewellery in the history of goldsmithing. This ring type is first mentioned in 1796, when no less than Napoleon Bonaparte, proposed to Joséphine de Beauharnais. It is a ring with two different gemstones – one of which is always a diamond. The designs of Toi et Moi rings have become very diverse and rich in variations over the decades. Our design shows a ring band that connects the two different stones and yet gives them enough space to unfold. So different and yet united – a symbolism that J. F. Kennedy also successfully used when he proposed to Jackie Bouvier. Design: Marc-Jens Biegel
