ELIZABETH
Inspired by the heavily pleated collars characteristic of the aristocracy in the Middle Ages the Japanese designer couple have developed a modern day interpretation. The secret of this design lies not in the lavishness associated with the royal courts of times gone by but in its reflected exclusive reduction. The core aesthetic quality is derived from bending fine strips of precious metal to give a smooth but balanced wave-like movement, thus generating a semblance of greater volume without squandering high quality materials.
